Rene Marie Russo, an American actor and film maker who was a former supermodel is a film director. The elegant beauty of Rene Marie is evident in her lengthy career as an actress and performer. The model began her modeling career in the 1970s. In the next few years, she was one of the most sought-after models. After studying acting Russo started her modeling career in Los Angeles. Russo first appeared on TV in ABCs Sable with the character Eden Kendell, in 1987. She was Tom Berengers' love interest two years later on Major League, her debut movie. Following her joining of in the UFC in 2011, she became a household-name thanks to the popularity she had achieved on and off the octagon. Namajunas was born on June 29, 1992, within Milwaukee Wisconsin. The fighter was raised by an ethnically diverse Lithuanian family. As a child, Rose was involved in sports such as basketball and kickboxing. Rose made her debut in professional competition aged 18 at the Invicta Fighting Championships, where she won two fights via submission. Dana White was impressed and invited Rose to join the strawweight division of the UFC at the age of 22 at the end of December in 2014. Rose has experienced the highs and lows of her professional career. However, she's always been a winner. Rose took on Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. Rose was awarded the Women's Strawweight Champion and also won the title of Fighter of the Night. This was the first time a woman competed against a major promotion for a championship. Namajunas won several fights following this fight and was named Performance Of The Night by UFC after her wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
